Satisfying Dinner At Restoran Wah Xing, Pasir Puteh, Ipoh.

Last Friday evening together with our friends, we drove to Jalan Pasir Puteh, near to Taman Boon Bak for our dinner at the newly opened Restoran Wah Xing. This food business was formerly operating at the Restoran Peng Tau in Taman Onn. We came to know of their shifting to the new premise on our previous visit. Their new location is a few shops away from the Eatime Laksa or Trishaw Laksa shop, Jalan Pasir Puteh (opposite the now closed Shatin food court).

We were early and ahead of the dinner crowd, Service was fast. As we sat down, the lady boss came to take down our orders. It was a hot evening and we were thankful for the fans going full blast. In a short while, our herbal drink were brought to the table.
No, no, these are not Carlsberg beer. These are herbal drink served in Carlberg glasses.
In less than 10 minutes, the first dish arrived at our table. We ordered this dish with long beans, deep fried brinjal (eggplant) stir fried with garlic and preserved salted radish (choy poh).
Then followed by deep fried pork rib with sticky sauce.
Stir fried greens (choy yeen in Cantonese) with carrot and garlic.

Steamed red tilapia fish with spicy savory sauce
4 plates of small portion white rice.
We could easily finish this white rice because every dish is so flavourful.
The total bill came to MYR 65.60 (approx. 15.40 USD),
