A Visit To Refarm - Leisure Farm #1, Temoh.

Last week my friend and I drove about 46.7 km to visit a farm. We started our journey at about 8.30 am on a bright, sunny morning. We took along our umbrellas knowing that it will be very hot. I even brought along a big handkerchief to wipe my sweat. We were told to be prepared to do some walking.

We made a stop in town for breakfast before continuing our journey. It was suppose to be a day of leisure tour and we took our time enjoying our breakfast. All the way the journey was smooth without much traffic. After passing Kampar town, my friend used the Waze app to check the location of farm. We found it easily as it was just beside the trunk road. Coming from Kampar it is on the left side of the road.
At about 10.50 am, we were at the entrance to Refarm - Leisure Farm.
I took these pictures from inside the car.
Once we passed the entrance, we just follow this "one way" direction.
There were many cars in the parking area. This is the year end school holiday season and we saw many families with their children.
We parked our car and bought our entrance tickets to the Leisure Farm.
We paid RM10 each for adults. For those who want to stay, accommodation is available and the rates are as shown above. There is also jungle trekking for those interested.
If you are interested and planning to visit this farm, do take note of the above information.
We were greeted by this as we passed the ticket collection gate.
We turned right and we have to walk through this archway. There are benches on both sides for the tired ones.
The plants and roots provided shade for us from the hot, hot sun.
We were now in the open, no longer under the covered way.
Now our umbrella comes in useful. My friend held the umbrella and I held my camera. Thanks to my understanding friend. Lol!
We look ahead, we look left and right. Which way to start first?
We walked up to this board and referred to the directory.
We chose the path in front of us.
These sheep look real but they are not.
We stopped at this point, looked up and wondered whether we should proceed further.
A female worker confirmed that the buildings are for accommodation.
Without us knowing, a family was following behind us and all of us have to turn around to go another direction.
Coming down the slope, we were attracted to this group of excited children. They were catching fishes with the little nets they have rented.
These shallow ponds were filled with small fishes.
These children were fishing, scooping or netting fishes.
A group tour supervised by their teachers.
I too joined in and caught these fishes with my camera. Lol!
A tortoise pond. Is this real or not?
A horse stable with 2 white horses. Horse ride anyone?
Here ends Refarm tour post #1. Come back tomorrow for post #2 to continue our tour.

But Jesus lives forever and
continues to be a Priest so that no one else is needed.
He is able to save completely all who come to God through him.
Since he will live forever, he will always be there to remind God
that he has paid for their sins with his blood.
(Hebrews 7:24-25, TLB)

    1. Hello Ann, if you mean the bedrooms, we didn't stay overnight there. It was only a day trip. But while we were walking around in the farm, we were not bitten by any mosquito. Happy holidays!
